Zoolights at the Phoenix Zoo

Millions of twinkling lights shine throughout the Phoenix Zoo during the annual ZooLights event. What started as part of a celebration of the Phoenix Zoo’s 30th anniversary in 1992 has become a beloved holiday tradition in the Valley of the Sun. ZooLights started with a few hundred thousand lights and has since grown to more than 3 million lights today.  So whether you’re carrying on an old tradition or starting a new one, we hope to see you on this family fun trip to experience the twinkling lights at the Phoenix Zoo and be reminded  of the real light that gives us a reason to celebrate.
