Wild West Wickenburg

Event Details

Spend some time with us as we explore the history and development of one of Arizona’s most interesting places.

Vulture City Ghost Town  With over 12 faithfully restored buildings and countless artifacts, the guided tour of the town provides a glimpse of the mining culture and lifestyle in the American Southwest in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Explore the Assay Office, Cookhouse, Brothel, Post Office, Henry Wickenburg’s Original Home and of course the infamous Hanging Tree!

Rancho de los Caballeros Founded in 1948, Wickenburg’s Rancho de los Caballeros is a family owned and operated ranch resort spanning 20,000 acres across the High Sonoran Desert. Famous for their Southwest hospitality and respect for the natural world. We will be enjoying a picturesque dining view of the area at our lunch.

Desert Caballeros Museum  tells the fascinating stories of the American West! At the core of the museum collection are prized works by George Catlin, Thomas Moran, Frederic Remington, Charles Russell, Cowboy Artists of America and many more. Meander from the art exhibits into life-scale recreations of old town Wickenburg, circa 1915. We will also see the “Cowgirl up” exhibit while we are on our tour there.

Los Viajeros Inn is a unique place to stay with a western theme that represents the real old west town of historic Wickenburg. Los Viajeros translates to “travelers” and is a desert oasis for those who travel through Arizona.
