Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music (FFOTM) started out as a small group of friends in the late 80’s and transformed into a non-profit organization in the early 2000’s.  We are the benefactors of their shared desire to promote, preserve & present Bluegrass and other forms of traditional American Folk Music in their community.  This year, FFOTM presents  their 17th annual Pickin’ in the Pines Bluegrass & Acoustic Music Festival.  Nestled in the tall pines of Flagstaff, the  festival will be held outdoors at Fort Tuthill County Park.   Our MTT guests will be attending opening day of this 3-day festival where we encourage hand clapping, toe tapping and “jump out of your seat” dancing.  Also noteworthy will be the assortment of food trucks on site for our culinary pleasure.  So, be sure to bring a picnic blanket or a camp chair along with your dancing shoes (and maybe a friend or two to dance with).  We can’t wait to see you!
