Oatman– A living Ghost Town, along Route 66, with beginnings as a gold mining town as well as the legend of its namesake Olive Oatman is entrenched in western lore as a woman who was kidnapped by an Indian tribe, then sold to a friendly local tribe before being freed to her family near what became Oatman. A visit to Oatman Jail & Museum, roam the town with the burros, and maybe catch a glimpse of a gun fight.
Lake Havasu City– Is Arizona’s playground with hiking, biking, boating, fishing, golfing, off roading, shopping, dining, lodging, events and more! A draw to this exciting town is the London Bridge next to the English Village, of course! There will be time to stroll the marinas and the bridge. We will board the Kon Tiki Canyon Cruiser and head out to the waters with scenic views of Copper Canyon known for the shimmering Copper deposits embedded in the mountain rock. There is also a Copper Mine on the top of the mountain. Feel the Breeze!
Quartzsite– Quartzsite has a quirky history, camels. Hadji Ali or “Hi Jolly” as he became known.
