Mt. Rushmore

YOU are cordially invited to join us on our trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota! Highlights during our exceptional journey will include taking in views of several different State and National Parks (be sure to bring your National Parks Passport Book) …And of course, there will be plenty of things to see and do along the way. As an integral part of our visit to Mt. Rushmore we will be checking in on the progress of the Crazy Horse Memorial, which has been under construction since 1948! Stops are planned to watch bears frolicking at Bear Country USA, discover how Black Hills Gold jewelry is made and even have time to pick out some souvenirs. We’ll take a stroll through the City of Presidents, and be entertained with a chuck-wagon supper and show.  We’ll visit various sites demonstrating our military might and stop for free ice water at Wall Drug Store. We will learn more about the sculptor behind Mt Rushmore at Borglum Story Museum and tour the Chapel in the Hills. And as if that’s not enough, we will wrap up the trip with an afternoon in Cheyenne enjoying lunch together as well as visiting the Cheyenne Depot Museum. We hope you will join us!
