Ark Encounter
A tour traveling to The ARK Encounter and Creation Museum in Williamstown Kentucky. Along the way we will find many interesting attractions such as the Meramec Caverns, the Louisville Slugger Factory, the Platte River Road Archway, the Kentucky Horse Park, and the Golden Spike Tower Rail Yard. We will also have the joy of spending time with the amazing peoples in Shipshewana and Amana Colonies.
The ARK Encounter it is to be believed! A FULL sized Ark. It is according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, a modern engineering marvel. We then go to the Creation Museum a state-of-the-art Creation Museum allows you to venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium and zoo.
We travel to an Amish town of Shipshewana, population 650. A day to discover their arts & crafts, furniture, home goods and mingle with the locals.
Not far away we come to the Amana Colonies. Known for Amana appliances. The town is industrious. We will lodge in the middle of town where we again immerse ourselves with town locals.
