Bisbee Queen Historic Mine is one of the greatest copper mines in history. The mine started it production of copper in 1880. With almost 100 years in service, it eventually closed down in 1975. Our tour will take us on a ride 1500 feet deep into the old workings of the mine, we will be on a mine train car, just like the miners used to ride on. You’ll be provided a rain slicker and hard hat for the ride. It’s very cool in the mine, you should be prepared to dress warmly, and no opened toed shoes or high heels.

Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum  is a Smithsonian Affiliate. The museum is a great way to get a glimpse into the past of this western copper mining town. Learn about the hard life of the miners and their job of  blasting, drilling and mucking miles of tunnels through the area. Bisbee is known also for its mineral heritage, which is  displayed in a state-of-the-art exhibit created by the Smithsonian designers Lavender Pit  is a former open pit copper mine near Bisbee  and the Copper Queen Mine. The open pit was named in honor of Harrison M. Lavender  who conceived and carried out his plan for making the previous unprofitable low-grade copper bearing rock of the area into commercial copper ore. The mine operated from 1950 to 1974.

The Holy Trinity Monastery was founded in 1974 as a Benedictine Monastery in the Olivetan tradition. The monastery dissolved in 2017.  The  monastery still has tours, retreats, classes, conferences, and weddings. On the grounds is an adobe chapel,      auditorium, a library, and artesian-fed ponds and lakes, gift shop, also 1.3 mile bird sanctuary trail long the San Pedro River.

Titan Missile Museum:The Titan Missile Museum is also called the Titan II ICBM Site 571-7. It’s located 40 km south of Tucson, Arizona.  The site was constructed in 1963 and deactivated in 1984.  It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1994.  It’s the only Titan II complex to survive from the late Cold War period.  It’s also the only location in the country where visitors can view an entirely preserved ICBM.  You will need to be able to walk down and up 55 stairs with a handrail  to see the missile. Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch Come have some fun with us at the Ostrich Ranch!  You will have a chance to get up close and personal to feed lots of critters: Ostrich, goats, deer, and  bunnies just to name a few!  The animals are from all over the globe. The ranch is third generation family owned. It’s been in business and open to the public since 1999, when it just had the ostrich only to feed.  If you will like a souvenir to take with you, they have a gift shop.
