Not just a great valley, but a shrine to human foresight, the strength of granite, the power of glaciers, the persistence of life, and the tranquility of the High Sierra. First protected in 1864, Yosemite National Park is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles are deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. Access to the park is limited, but we are taking full advantage of the areas available to groups. Included on our agenda is a Valley Floor tram tour and the Glacier Point Tour on a park bus. Outside the park, but still within the Sierra National Forest, we will be taking a ride on the Sugar Pine Railroad and enjoying a cruise on Bass Lake with lunch at Ducey’s Grill nearby.
Tour includes all the above mentioned events and activities, lodging with breakfast at the hotel, transportation, and snacks & bottled water on the coach.
