Navajo Festival of Arts & Culture
Come experience the music and culture of the Diné people. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn how objects are made, what inspires the artist, or simply to understand the different symbols reflected in a work of art. That connection and dialogue makes the art much more meaningful and personal. The music of Native Americans is a mix of haunting melody and thundering drums. We will be able to enjoy performances from various Diné dance teams, bands, and singers. Lectures in which to learn about the culture are scheduled throughout the day. Over 80 award-winning artists will display their paintings, jewelry, weaving, pottery, and sculpture. Entry into the museum exhibits is included with your ticket. What a great place to learn about the natural history, arts, and cultural heritage of “The people.”
Tour includes entry into the museum and festival, transportation, and bottled water on the coach.
